How to open a blog domain or web blog.

First of all, to some people opening a blog site or blog domain is seen as a very tedious process to some people who don't really have the knowledge of how it is been created and launched.

Let me quickly brief us on what a blog and website is.

   

What is a blog?

 A blog is simply a website or an online platform where people write and publish articles,they include news,pictures,videos including links that shows other interest of the writer.

Difference between a website and a blog?

There isn't much difference between the two. Both are very similar and can be used interchangeably sometimes.

What is a website?

A website simply is a collection of information such information about a particular thing,company or person,videos,images,documents etc.

You see there isn't much difference between between the two.

How to open a BLOG?

For this example I am going to be using BLOGGER as a case study.

1.Open a Gmail  account to enable you use Blogger efficiently.

 If you don't have a Gmail you may sign up using this link www.gmail.com and follow the instructions its very user friendly and easy to use.

2.Open Blogger dot com using www.blogger.com and click on sign up. Since Blogger belongs to Google all you need is to Sign up using your Gmail account. You can now see why opening a Gmail account was necessary

3.Now, simple follow all instructions that follow by Choosing a creative domain name for your site E.g "www.komodreamblog.blogspot.com"

4. You can now save the domain now. That is your friends,family and views can now sear in Google site by just typing your blog's domain name by typing e.g "komodreamblog.blogspot.com"

5.Next all you need to do is to customise your home page using the free theme and template in the option. You can design and decide how you want your page to look like.

6. To blog simply click on "blog".  Now its time to make your first post. The interface works just like Microsoft word so if you are familiar with it Blogging won't be difficult for you.

7. That's all the simple steps you need in creating a blog.
